Who we are

Two women smiling, one standing and one sitting on a wooden stool, in front of a beige textured background.

We’re a mother and daughter duo who believe no mum should ever do it alone.

The Village Co. was born from our own postpartum journeys and recognising the importance of having a village of support. We understand the quiet cries for help, mums begging for rest, for time, for someone to simply hold the baby so they can just breathe.

So, we decided to be that someone.

We are a Springfield Lakes, QLD based not for profit organisation with a purpose to provide free, practical and emotional in-home support to mother’s raising their babies with limited, or no immediate support.

At The Village Co. we come to mothers to help, to hold, and to remind you that you are not alone.

We believe every mother should have access to free support, connection, and the confidence to flourish in her new role - because her wellbeing shapes generations.

Hi, I’m Shelleigh! A very proud mum of three adult children and grandmother to one of the coolest lil dudes ever.

My husband Fana and I own Lole’s Barber Shop and also run the Springfield Stingers Touch Football Club, where we’re both deeply involved in giving back to our local community.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time at the gym, soaking up the sun by the pool, and being with my family, especially my grandson.

Hi, I’m Teelah! A young mum of one, plus one fur baby, and daughter of Shelleigh.

Outside of work, I love sport, family time, and enjoying a matcha while spending time with my son.
